Searchsynergy and the Nett.casino team came together in Malta during SiGMA to discuss plans for 2026–2027, the role of AI and staying true to our values.

During our visit to Malta for SiGMA, Searchsynergy and the team from Nett.casino took time to come together and look ahead to 2026–2027. Away from the conference floor, we discussed where our business is heading, how the iGaming industry might evolve and what we want to preserve as we grow.

Preparing for what comes next

Our discussions focused on how we can continue building useful, trustworthy platforms as technology and audience expectations change. For Nett.casino and Searchsynergy, that means keeping the needs of our readers at the centre of our decisions while remaining open to new ways of working.

Meeting in person gave us space to compare perspectives, question assumptions and discuss priorities for the years ahead.

Staying true to ourselves

AI was a recurring topic. There is plenty to explore, but we want our approach to be guided by practical value and our own standards.

For us, that means asking straightforward questions: Does a tool help us produce better work? Does it improve the experience for our readers? Can we stand behind the result?

We see opportunities to use AI thoughtfully, with people taking responsibility for the work we publish. Our identity, editorial judgement and relationships remain central to that approach.

Time together matters

The trip also gave us a chance to step away from everyday tasks and spend time together over dinner. Those conversations help us understand each other better and build the trust that carries into our work.

We left Malta with a shared focus for 2026–2027: stay curious, make deliberate choices and keep building a business that reflects who we are.
